
Our creative studio had the privilege of designing the new Identity for the prestigious La Palme d'Or restaurant at Martinez hotel in Cannes, a venue steeped in cinematic history as the host of the first dinner for the Cannes Film Festival jury. Inspired by this legacy, we crafted each menu as a unique film script, tailored to immerse every guest in a distinct narrative experience. Upon arriving at the table, each diner receives a bespoke scenario—be it a film noir, action, or science fiction script—that brings the restaurant’s story to life.
To ensure an authentic and meticulously crafted object, only a limited number of menus were produced, with every detail executed by hand. We commissioned the talented illustrator Laurent Astier to create unique storyboards. The covers, paper elements, and decorative accents were carefully assembled one by one by our printer Imprimerie du Marais, a specialized artisan who brought precision and care to every step of the process. Every element overflows with intricate details and clever Easter eggs, inviting guests to discover hidden surprises. ✫
